COASTLINE ELDERLY SERVICES, INC.

Coastline Elderly Services, Inc. in coordination with Senior Whole Health, offers the Senior Care Options Program. The Senior Care Options program is a health care plan for people age 65 years or older who qualify for MassHealth Standard. Eligible persons must have Medicare also. The goal of the program is to provide low-income seniors with a health care plan that's simple to join, provides the security of around-the-clock health care, and allows them to remain living as independently as possible.

The Care Options Program combines the traditional health care services with social and home-based services, giving each member a health care plan that's right for them.

An eligible member would choose a primary care physician that's part of the Senior Whole Health Senior Care Options Program. All members have phone access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to nurses through Senior Whole Health. In addition, they have access to language interpreters.

The Senior Care Options Program came to Coastline Elderly Services in 2005. We currently have 300+ clients enrolled in the program. Coastline has special Geriatric Service Support Care Coordinators on site that go out and do home visits and assessments. If there is a need for services, our coordinators put them in place. The services can be for transportation to medical appointments and home care services which include laundry, housework and personal care.
