For ten consecutive years, the “Share the Warmth” program has been a huge success. The Donaghy-Hathaway Funeral Home and The Fairhaven Funeral Home along with local radio station WBSM sponsor “Share the Warmth” program. Along with making donations themselves, the Hathaway Family, the radio station, and the community collect new articles of warm clothing and donate them to area elders through Coastline Elderly Services, Inc. The Donaghy-Hathaway Funeral Home and The Fairhaven Funeral Home serve as the drop off points for donations of warm clothing. The clothing is then brought to Coastline for distribution by Coastline staff.

This year's campaign is currently in progress. In these tough economic times, this year's campaign is all the more important. We ask you, members of the community, to help out. Any new articles of warm clothing can be delivered to either The Donaghy-Hathaway Funeral Home at 465 County Street , New Bedford , MA 02740 or The Fairhaven Funeral Home at 117 Main Street , Fairhaven , MA 02719 from now until December 12th. Your generous donations will keep elders warm during the blistery days of winter.
