Choose Carriage House at Acushnet Heights As Your New Home!
Coastline Elderly Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of the brand new senior housing facility. The Carriage House at Acushnet Heights is now accepting applications for tenants 62 years of age and older. Carriage House is a newly constructed development consisting of 34 studio and one bedroom units with some fully accessible units. Initial residents will be chosen by lottery. All applications received from August 8th until August 19th will be included in the lottery.
The house is located on 1661 Purchase Street in New Bedford across from the Coastline Elderly Services, Inc. office. Funding is provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Section 202 Funds, City of New Bedford HOME funds and State of Massachusetts Housing Stabilization fund. Coastline Elderly Services, Inc. and The Community Builders, Inc. are the Co-Developers.
Rent is subsidized and based upon 30% of the resident's annual adjusted income. The maximum annual gross income for applicants is $22,150 for one person and $25,300 for two people. Carriage House at Acushnet Heights offers many amenities including:
